Reaction has come swiftly to Calgary moving ahead to a plebiscite on hosting the 2026 Winter Olympic Games.

With a $5.2 billion price tag, the Winter Games would be the least costly Olympics in some time, and would require the re-purposing of several of Calgary’s aging legacy properties in order to get to that number.

Some Calgarians are concerned the bid didn’t account for a new arena, nor did it include an LRT link to the airport.

We’d love for you to log your vote here, with the details still fresh in your mind.
