Calgary police seek vehicle connected to North Hill Co-op shooting

Calgary police have released CCTV footage of a vehicle they believe may be connected to the shooting at the North Hill Co-op on May 11.

Calgary police responded to the North Hill Co-op, located at 520 – 16 Avenue NE around 7:50 p.m. Monday after reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived, two people were in life-threatening condition and taken to hospital. One of the victims later died. The other was later identified as an innocent bystander.

Police are releasing pictures of the suspect’s vehicle, described as a white SUV, and the passenger side rear window is partially broken and taped over.

Officers are also asking for anyone with dashcam footage from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Monday, May 11 in the area of 504 – 16 Avenue NE, heading eastbound towards Strathmore, to contact police at 403-266-1234.
