Calgary police are looking for a man who may have committed two acts of sexual assault in a south Calgary park.

According to Calgary police, on April 20 around 5:30 p.m., a woman who was jogging in Fish Creek Park near Mallard Point was sexually assaulted by an unknown man riding an e-scooter.

Police said that it’s believed the man was watching the woman near the on-site bathrooms before the incident happened. The man continued to ride the e-scooter towards the southeast community of Douglasdale.

Police believe the man sexually assaulted another woman in the park roughly 20 minutes earlier.

They’re looking for a suspect in his late teens to early 20s, around six feet tall, with light skin tone and blonde hair.  At the time of the incident, he was wearing black pants, a red hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his head. He had a white backpack with colourful spot.

At the time, he was playing loud music on a speaker, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Calgary police at 403-266-1234.
