Suspect sought in alleged indecent act in the Beltline

Calgary police are looking for a suspect in an alleged indecent act in the city’s southwest in early January.

According to police, on Jan. 7, 2026, around 7:30 p.m., a woman was sitting in her parked car in the 1100 block of 13 Avenue SW. An unknown man approached her vehicle, opened the front passenger door, and then exposed himself to the woman and committed an indecent act, police said.

Police said the woman was able to drive away from the scene,e and she reported the incident to police the following day.

Calgary police investigators said that after canvassing the area for witnesses or camera footage, they’ve been unable to locate an image of the suspect, or an identity.

They have created a composite sketch of the man. He’s described as being about 5’8” to 5’10”, around 35 years old with a slim build, dark hair, medium complexion and a beard. At the time of the alleged incident, he was wearing a felt coat, black joggers, a red and grey scarf and a toque.
