Calgarians are being invited to celebrate Canada Day at events and venues across the city.
Some of the largest celebrations for Canada Day will be held in the East Village at The Confluence, where the City of Calgary is hosting a day of cultural activities and entertainment, followed by evening main stage performances.
As in 2024, the Canada Day fireworks are set to be fired from Stampede Park, which will not be allowing for any viewing directly at the park.
The Confluence, Scotsman’s Hill, and other locations where Stampede Park can be viewed are all excellent choices to watch the fireworks.
On street parking will be free, although visitors to the downtown and surrounding communities should expect delays due to road closures.
Calgary Transit will be operating on Sunday hours for July 1.
