Thousands of Calgarians braved a bit of cold on Friday morning to take part in one of the city’s most unique parades—the annual Calgary Expo Parade of Wonders.
Dressed in their finest cosplay, participants representing just about every fandom imaginable walked Stephen Avenue in front of thousands more Calgarians.
Calgary’s own Todd McFarlane served as the honourary parade marshal, with VIP guests from Letterkenny, the Scream franchise, and more with attendance.
The parade also officially opened the 2024 Calgary Expo with a bang, with pyrotechnics signalling that everything pop culture at the BMO Centre was open to the public.
