Canadian Pacific Railway’s popular light show and musical spectacle returned to the city, after being inactive since 2019 due to the pandemic.

The Holiday Train drew well over a thousand visitors to the Anderson LRT Station on Dec. 12.

This year’s train featured an address to Calgarians by Mayor Jyoti Gondek, and performances by Aysanabee and Tenille Townes.

The event also served as a fundraiser and food drive for the Calgary Food Bank.

Calgarians can get a second chance to see the train starting on Tuesday, Dec. 13 in Cochrane, Morley, Canmore, and Banff. For a full schedule of stops and performances, see www.cpr.ca/en/holiday-train/canada.
