Calgary police are investigating two additional shooting deaths, hours after a 16-year-old was killed in the city’s northwest.

Police said it’s too early to say if all three incidents are connected.

Sixteen-year-old Jal Acor Jal was ID’d as the victim in a Thursday evening incident in Arbour Lake NW.

Early Friday afternoon, Calgary police were called to the 0-100 block of Radcliffe Close SE after reports of gunshots. Emergency crews responded and found a man in life-threatening condition. He died shortly after. An autopsy will be done Monday.

Images (above) of a vehicle of interest were released. It’s a beige or grey Chevy Venture minivan. It was last seen leaving Radisson Heights near 28 Street SE and Memorial Drive around 1:30 p.m. Friday.

Second shooting: Crescent Heights

The second shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. Friday in Crescent Heights, police said.

According to police, the victim and a friend exited Jerusalem Shawarma at 1608 2 Street SW and went to a parked vehicle in the alley behind the restaurant.

While they were sitting in the black SUV, unknown people appeared and fired multiple shots into the vehicle. A man in his 20s suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

The driver fled the scene towards a hospital while calling 9-1-1 for help, police said.

The SUV stopped at 16 Avenue NE and Deerfoot Trail at around 8:54 p.m. where emergency crews met the vehicle. The victim was declared dead at the scene, police said.

Anyone with dashcam footage from eastbound 16 Avenue NE to Deerfoot Trail from 8:30 to 9:45 p.m., is asked to contact police.

If you have information on either incident, call police at 403-266-1234.
