Dozens of Alberta doctors put their name to a letter calling on the government to abandon proposed April 1 changes to the provincial health system.
The letter is addressed to Alberta’s Health Minister, Tyler Shandro, and Premier Jason Kenney, from a group calling themselves Concerned Alberta Doctors.
“We oppose this Government’s implementation of harmful actions targeted towards our public healthcare system. These actions will destabilize an already stressed healthcare system during this uncertain time,” the letter reads.
