Telus Spark Body Worlds: Animal Inside Out 

What: Telus Spark opens its newest exhibit, showcasing animals from the inside out. Explore a variety of animals like goats, giraffes and octopuses and the internal system that makes them work. It features more than 100 translucent slices, blood vessel configurations, organ configurations and whole body plastinates.

Avenue Best Things to Eat Market

What: Hosted by Avenue Magazine, shop and sample some of Calgary’s best eats. This free, one-day market features items off the menus of Cabin Brewing Company, Honest Dumplings and The Pie Junkie.

Spooktacular Beer Fest

12 Hour Halloween Movie Marathon

Swingin’ Sundays at the Central Library 

What: Head down to the atrium of the Central Library for a free afternoon of swing dancing. No partner or experience required. All ages and abilities welcome.

Walk Off the Earth

Walk Off the Earth is playing at the Southern Jubilee Auditorium next week. Walk Off the Earth/FB.

What: Canadian indie pop band, Walk Off The Earth, is in town on Monday playing at the Southern Jubilee Auditorium. Special guest Darenots will open for the band. All ages. Reserved seating.

The Ghosts of Fish Creek Walking Tour

The Dudes Annual Halloween Party 

Calgary indie band The Dudes play are The Gateway for their annual Halloween party. The Dudes/FB.

What: X92.9 Calgary Alternative presents The Dudes Annual Halloween Party. Special guests include Port Juvee and The Gentlemens Club. There will be a photo booth and best costume prizes to be won.

Trick-or-Treat at Sunridge Mall

What: Head down to Sunridge mall with your family and enjoy trick-or-treating at participating retailers. There’ll also be a balloon artist and a Halloween-themed 3D photo booth to check out. Grab a picture with roaming princess characters throughout the mall for a chance to win gift cards.

WERK Disco Bloodbath 

What: On Halloween night, WERK returns to the Palace Theatre for a Disco Bloodbath, featuring the winner of season 8 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, the legendary Bob The Drag Queen. Over $1,000 in prices will be given away for best costumes.

Halloween Night Hike

What: Learn more about nocturnal creatures such as bats, owls and maybe even flying squirrels – and maybe even spot a few. A four to five kilometer hike. Costumes encouraged. Bring a flashlight or headlamp.
