In the December 2018, Christmas Eve edition of LiveWired in Calgary, a show that airs monthly on CJSW 90.9 FM, we show our softer side… sorta.

First, host, and editor of livewirecalgary.com, Darren Krause, talked with Calgary entrepreneur Derek Deacon Rogers about his innovative ticketing solution for events that’s built to give back to city charities and non-profits.

Derek takes you on his journey to give back to Calgary and finding a way to build a business that does just that.

Then we go one-on-one with Calgary author Shaun Hunter, discussing her new book: Calgary Through the Eyes of Writers. Darren asks about the vast literary history of the city and why on Earth we don’t talk about it more.

In the final segment, Darren chats with ThinkHQ’s Marc Henry on recent polling numbers that show a bleak picture for Alberta’s NDP heading into a possible spring Alberta election.

We also have our On Your Radar segment this month, a few reminders for things you should have in your back pocket going into 2019.

Thanks for tuning in and don’t forget to subscribe on iTunes, Google, Stitcher and standard RSS feed. Check back monthly for new shows.

Merry Christmas and we’ll catch up with you all in the New Year!
