Green Fools Theatre is excited to present two independent film productions, Take a Seat and Retail, this Saturday, October 12th!
Entrance is by donation, and every bit counts – no donation is too big or too small! All proceeds go directly to support Green Fools’ charity programs, like our Social Circus, which provides FREE circus training year-round for at-risk youth.
These programs offer a safe space for kids to learn, build friendships, and grow in confidence. Your support truly helps make a difference in their lives!

Take a Seat

12 min.

A short feature by Doug Cook, starring Dean Bareham, is an artist’s physical and mental journey as he creates a miniature TV show that auctions chairs. His elaborate preparations and over-the-top persona climax into a bewildering performance, spiraling into the unexpected.

Retail!

A 90 min

Written by Eric Amber and Patrick Downing. Directed by Patrick Downing.

Marty and Barb Benson are siblings who run Benson’s Furniture Galleria. Forced to reckon with a surprise tax bill, they must hold an emergency sale in order to help meet their obligations. However, their hapless sales and warehouse staff, berserk customers with absurd demands, and various sadistic acts of God do everything to wreck their plan.
