Filled with intimate photography, director Josephine Anderson delivers an emotionally captivating portrait about coming of age, friendship and overcoming adversity – both in life and in a game of inches where every shot counts and sometimes things don’t go as planned.

Teammates Hannah, Brooklyn, Savannah, Ashley, and Amy have a single goal: to become Canadian Junior Curling Champions, coached by their world champion mothers. Amid their rigorous training and competition schedule, they’re living under constant pressure that tests their self-confidence. The film captures their growing sense of identity, as they candidly navigate body image issues, mental health, and the precarious nature of being a teenager. CURL POWER tells a story of angst and ecstasy, following five best friends as they reckon with their bodies, minds, and the future to come.
