The Calgary Police Service homicide unit is currently investigating the death of a man that occurred last night in the city’s southwest, with two people in custody.
Around 10:50 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, police responded to reports of a disturbance at the 1400 block of 38 Street S.W.
A man in medical distress was located upon arrival. He was then transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
CPS currently has two people in custody. It is believed the victim and suspects were known to each other.
An autopsy date is pending, according to police.
Investigators are currently speaking to witnesses. More information will be shared when details are confirmed.
