It’s that tasty time again for the Calgary Stampede, as they unveil some of their new Midway foods for 2025.

Of course, they’ll still have most of the Midway favourites for Stampede-goers to snack on, but this year they’ve added 50 new foods people can enjoy.

This year, they went after big flavour and loads of creativity with the 70 Midway vendors.

”Our exhibitors spend months curating unexpected dishes that you won’t find anywhere else but at the Calgary Stampede Midway,” said Ashley Warner, Midway Manager at the Calgary Stampede, in a prepared news release.

“The goal is to surprise, delight and satisfy every kind of craving with an unforgettable Stampede twist.”

Whether it’s the Spicy Salmon Nori Taco, the Cowboy Bao, the Ramenrito, or the Bacon Wrapped Grilled Cheese Cake, there’s undoubtedly something on the Midway for visitors to enjoy.

How about Spicy Pickle Fries? What about the Doritos Fried Pizza Slice on a Stick? Mmmmm… Deep Fried Pickle Oreos anyone?

While there’s all sorts of savoury, there’s loads of sweet treats for Stampede-goers to enjoy, whether it’s the Spicy Coconut Avocado Ice Cream, Sour Rainbow Crunch Mini-Donuts, or Deep Fried Cinnamon Buns.

This year, Stampede Insiders were invited to name one of the Dumpling Hero’s exclusive Stampede dishes. It involves spam.

“This year, we are thrilled to introduce a touch of Oahu to the Calgary Stampede Midway with our Asian fusion and Hawaiian staple creation,” said Tracy Cheng, Co-Owner/Founder of The Dumpling Hero.

“We are excited to transport you to the beach with a taste of Hawaii through the Spam-pede Bao, exclusively at the 2025 Stampede.”

Don’t worry – for all the traditionalists out there, you can still get your corn dogs and mini-donuts, plus all the regular drinks along the Calgary Stmapede Midway.

Here’s a list of all the new foods coming this year.
