Over the past 37 days, candidates have battled over which party will lead and which leader will become the next Prime Minister of Canada.

LiveWire Calgary is bringing live election results from the 2025 federal election, with updates from across Calgary, Alberta, and Canada.

Key electoral districts to watch for Calgary in this election include Calgary McKnight, where the city’s only Liberal MP George Chahal is facing Conservative Party of Canada candidate Dalwinder Gill, Calgary Crowfoot where Conservative MP Pat Kelly holds a leaning lead versus Liberal candidate Shahnaz Munir, the neck-and-neck races in Calgary Centre between Conservative MP Greg McLean and Liberal Lindsay Luhnau, and in Calgary Skyview Conservative candidate Amanpreet Singh Gill versus Liberal Hafeez Malik.

In Edmonton, districts Edmonton Centre, Gateway, Griesbach, Manning, Northwest, Riverbend, and Southeast are also being hotly contested between the Conservative, Liberal, and New Democratic Parties.

In the 2025 Federal General Election, 172 seats are required for a majority.

Live election results will begin to be provided at roughly 5 p.m. Mountain Time, starting after polls begin to close across the nation.
