Day 1: Calgary Stampede attendance starts the 2024 edition off strong

Day 1 of the 2024 Calgary Stampede is in the books, and it’s been a rousing start thus far.

To kick things off for the 2024 edition of the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth it was the annual parade day, with hundreds of thousands lining downtown Calgary streets to enjoy the festivities.

From there, more than 161,400 people piled onto the Calgary Stampede grounds, making it a two-day total of 201,902.
