Day two of the Calgary Stampede kicks off with a dozen free concerts, on park activities, and more.

Cordae, Nuela Charles, Zaki Ibrahim, Boslen, and Bruce Vine are playing the Coca-Cola Stage; Cheat Codes, Danny Nix and the Heat, and Nicky Genesis are playing the Big Four Building; Jojo Mason, Dani Strong, Cole Malone, and Fox Worthee are playing Nashville North.

And for a more relaxed musical experience, the Western Oasis is hosting seven different musical acts throughout the day.

July 8 is also Stampede Pride Day at Nashville North, which aims to continue the vision of creating an inclusive community gathering space said the Calgary Stampede.

The day at Nashville North will have LGBTQ2S+ friendly activities, and drag performances from Carly York Jones and Marvellous Mo.

“Ten years ago, 20 friends never believed that we would be here today, with full Stampede engagement and celebrations at a time when visibility and support for the community has never been more important. It is amazing.” said Charles Macmichael, Stampede Pride Day Founder.

The first Stampede Saturday also has lots of activities across the park, including the Dog Bowl, Monster Energy Compound Show, Kitchen Theatre, and dozens of agricultural, western, and animal themed activities.
