Updated: Police looking for vehicle in shooting that left one dead, two wounded

The Calgary police homicide unit is holding a scene in northeast Calgary where one person was shot and killed and at least two others were wounded.

Officers were called around 3 p.m. on Saturday to the 100 block of Martindale Blvd NE after reports of gunshots, according to police.  

When officers arrived, one adult male was deceased on the scene, according to police. Two other victims were transported to hospital in life-threatening condition, police said.

The shooting was believed to be targeted said investigators.

Further details on the victim will be released once next of kin are notified and an autopsy is done, police said. The autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning.

The police are looking for anyone with dashcam footage and CCTV footage from the area.

Calgary Police released a still from a CCTV camera in the area of the shooting that showed a black 2008 Acura TL sedan. Anyone who sees the vehicle is asked not to approach, as the occupants may be armed.

Investigators are seeking the whereabouts of the vehicle.
