Calgary Police investigators are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects in an nighttime shooting that occurred in the community of Castleridge.

Police said that an altercation that began between occupants of two cars at 11 pm on April 22, escalated into a shooting that sent one person to hospital with minor injuries.

The assailants fled the scene at the 0 to 100 block of Castleglen Crescent NE before police arrived.

“While a significant portion of shootings are targeted in our city, gun violence doesn’t just impact those involved in crime. It puts our entire community at risk, including an offender’s friends and family,” said CPS.

The service said they are looking for members of the community to come forward with any information they may have, or videos of the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 403-266-1234, or submit tips anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
