Several hundred Calgarians gathered at the Peace Bridge on Thursday to call for an end to the unprovoked Russian Federation invasion of Ukraine.
The rally one of 30 across the nation held on Thursday, following the Russian military attack on Wednesday.
The Calgary branch of the Ukranian Canadian Congress organized the rally. It featured speakers including the western Consul for Ukraine Oleksandr Danyleiko, and Dr. Nataliia Vereskun, Maidan activist and member of the League of Ukrainian Women.
