Ward Zero – Episode 18: More polls, more forums and Calgary school boards

Episode 18 starts off with a couple of hot takes, including Esmahan’s flip on the value of a Senate vote. Jeremy picks up on the Senate conversation… then Darren switches gears to the sheer number of forums.

In the main segments, the trio looks at the latest polling and what it means heading into the Thanksgiving weekend. We talk about the undecided numbers in the podcast, but it turns out, these numbers are normal.

They also look at the forums – more fireworks – and then the team has their own debate on how and why these forums whittle down the number of candidates. Jeremy thinks it should be open to all… but, nuh-uh say Esmahan and Darren.

School board trustee candidates have a tough haul, and we look at why that might be changing. Here’s a link to the article referenced in the podcast.

The podcast finishes up with quick hits and hints that a special announcement (or two) might be coming up in the next episode.

Enjoy the listen!
