Angela Ganter (Abilene TX) caught a barrel in Wildcard Saturday at the Calgary Stampede Rodeo. The Texas barrel racer won’t advance to Championship Sunday but did earn $7,000 during the week. Sean Libin for LiveWire 
Texas bull rider Dylan Swearingen combined with Down Crown for a 87.50 trip on the final day of regular competition in the Calgary Stampede Rodeo. Swearingen has earned $12,500 and a spot in Rodeo’s Richest Hour on Sunday. Sean Libin for LiveWire. 
Jackie Ganter, half of a mother-daughter barrel racing duo, advanced to the Calgary Stampede Rodeo’s Championship Sunday with a time of 17.45. Her mom Angela didn’t make the cut. Sean Libin for LiveWire

Alberta was represented in the Saddle Bronc competition on Wildcard Saturday with Alberta bronc rider K’s Thomson paired up with Alberta Moon to earn an 88 ride. Thomson tied with Brody Cress and the two will advance to the final on Championship Sunday. Sean Libin for LiveWire 
Jacob Elder (State Centre, IA) wrapped up his fourth performance with a day leading 4.2 securing his spot in Championship Sunday at the Calgary Stampede Rodeo. Sean Libin for LiveWire
