Calgary police hunt for suspects in rash of convenience store robberies

Calgary police are looking for two individuals who are believed to have robbed nine convenience stores in less than a week. 

The string of robberies took place from March 29 to April 3, 2021, according to police. While eight of the convenience stores robbed were located in Calgary, one store was in Airdrie. The suspects are described as 25- to 30-year-old men. 

One suspect was between 5’6” and 5’8” tall, wearing a yellow hoodie and a grey vest in one of the surveillance videos. He wore a black hoodie and some blue sweatpants with yellow or neon stripes in another video. A medical mask covered his face.

The other suspect is between 5’5” and 5’9” tall and has short black hair. He wore a green or brown jacket, jeans and a black face covering.  

The suspects had weapons and stole cash. They may be driving a white sedan. 

Investigators are asking anyone with information regarding the suspects to call the Calgary Police Service at 403-266-1234.
