The Calgary Police Service is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect of a sexual assault on July 20.

At approximately 2 p.m., a man entered a business in the Fairview community and physically sexually assaulted a 17-year-old employee.

While this employee was stocking shelves, the man allegedly touched her sexually without her consent, he then proceeded to wink at her before fleeing the store, said police.

The suspect avoided police custody but the victim of the attack was able to provide a physical description of her attacker.

This man is described as white, in his mid 60s. He’s approximately 5’7″ with a medium build, grey mustache, and bushy grey eyebrows.

On the day of the alleged attack, he was wearing a grey, checkered beret with a black t-shirt that had a corner chest pocket, police said. He also wore black cargo shorts and black Nike shoes with a red swoosh.

The CPS is asking that anyone with information about this incident or can identify the suspect to call the CPS non-emergency line at (403) – 266- 1234.

Anonymous tips can be left on the Crime Stoppers website, https://calgarycrimestoppers.org or by phone at 1-800-222-8477.
