A 17-month-old child sustained life-threatening injuries from a hit and run in southeast Calgary Monday morning.
Calgary Police are currently searching for the driver involved.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:40 a.m. at the 0 to 100 block of Deerfield Villas SE.
The child was taken to hospital by EMS.
Officers from the Calgary Police Services, Traffic Section, are requesting the public’s help in locating the driver and vehicle involved.
It’s believed that the vehicle is a dark-coloured, possibly green, SUV.
Police say it’s possible that the driver may be unaware of the collision.
