LiveWired in Calgary – Episode 18: Alberta post secondary, Peter Oliver, and Coun. Jyoti Gondek

In our first episode of 2020, LiveWired in Calgary host Darren Krause looks at changes to the way Alberta has funded post-secondary, actual data on crime trends around Calgary’s Supervised Consumption Sites (SCS) and a conversation about where the north part of Calgary’s Green Line is headed.

Krause talks with Peter Oliver from the Beltline Neighbourhoods Association about a BNA web post showing a mountain of data on SCS and his thoughts about recent comments from Premier Jason Kenney.

While Calgary has laid out its most recent iteration of the Green Line, just prior to that he spoke and road-tripped with Calgary city councillor Jyoti Gondek to chat about why the Green Line LRT went south instead of north.

Here’s a written piece on the topic.

That and lots more in this month’s show!
