Calgary police are investigating after a local realtor was sexually assaulted at southeast open house Saturday.

Police are investigating after receiving a report around 2 p.m. June 22, after a man entered a house in the 800 block of McKenzie Drive SE.

He talked to the realtor and continued even after she tried to end the conversation, police said. According to police, the man then grabbed the woman, touching her sexually without consent.

The woman moved away from the man and convinced him to leave, but he returned a short time later. The realtor locked the door and called for help. At that time the man left, but again returned a third time.

Upon arrival, officers searched the area but couldn’t find the man.

The suspect is described as Middle Eastern or South Asian, salt and pepper beard, medium build with short brown hair. He was wearing a grey shirt and dark shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 403-266-1234, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
