Calgary police are looking for a Good Samaritan who helped a child in medical distress in late April.

According to police, around 10:20 p.m. April 25, a man was walking in the northeast Calgary community of Taradale when there was a child in distress in a home on Tarington Road NE. The man performed first aid on the child at the scene.

The person remained on scene with the child and the mother until medical help arrived, police said.

Police would like to speak with him about details surrounding the incident.

He’s described as a man in his mid-30s to mid-40s, 6-foot tall with a medium to large build. The man has a turban and speaks Punjabi.

If anyone know the identity of the man, they are asked to call police at 403-266-1234.

The police did acquire closed circuit footage of the man and are providing the images to the public.
