This September, Calgary is hosting the Canadian Country Music Association Awards (CCMAs), and tickets are going on sale this Friday.

“We can’t think of a better way to show Calgarians how excited we are to return to their amazing city than to bring them the best that Canadian country music has to offer,” said Tracy Martin, CCMA President. “The show that we are putting together is going to create an unforgettable night and celebrate what has been a landmark year for country music in Canada.”

Dozens of Canada’s best country music artists will be at the show. Among the artists confirmed to attend are Dallas Smith, Old Dominion, Meghan Patrick, Paul Brandt, James Barker Band, Lindsay Ell, Dean Brody, High Valley, Brett Kissel, The Reklaws, Tim Hicks, The Washboard Union, Chad Brownlee, Terri Clark, Aaron Goodvin, Jess Moskaluke and Gord Bamford.

There will be much more than just the awards show at the Saddledome on Sept. 8. The event promises to be a three-day party with live acts at multiple stages throughout the downtown, as well as artist meet and greets and a red carpet event. There will be a mix of free and ticketed events, so fans are encouraged to follow the CCMA accounts on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for updates on those shows.

While tickets for the main event go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m., fans can get a limited number of VIP experience tickets through Ticketmaster starting Wednesday.
