Calgary sent out a short press release Tuesday night to let residents know it is not sending out robo-calls on election night.

According to the release, some residents have reported receiving robo-calls from a group called “Tell City Hall” asking them how they plan to vote in the provincial election.

According to the release, the city does not ask citizens about their election choices.

A website for tellcityhall.ca describes itself as a public sector program of Advanis Inc. which is a market research group.
