The former Alberta College of Art and Design may have a new name, but traditions must carry on, and we’ve got your chance to attend one of those events.

The First Night Fundraiser – which is the grand kickoff to the The Alberta University of the Arts Students’ Association Spring Show + Sale – is set to take place on March 28 from 5 to 8 pm.

Attendees get the first chance to purchase original artwork in advance of the public sale, and meet the artists in person.

The work will include paintings, drawings, glass, jewellery + metals, fibre, printmaking, sculpture, media arts, photography, ceramics and design.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased via the university’s website, but we’ve got a pair to give away to one luck LiveWire reader. To enter, just click over to our LiveWire Facebook page and comment on our post, or tag who you’d like to bring with you to the event.

While you’re there, give us a like to see more of our content in your Facebook feed.
