Calgary police investigating fatal shooting in southeast community

Homicide detectives are investigating after one person was shot and killed in Calgary’s southeast Wednesday morning.

Around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, Calgary police were called to the 200 block of Pensville Close SE after there was a report that a man had been shot in the home.

The man was found dead at the scene when Calgary emergency personnel arrived.

According to police, there are traffic disruptions in the area.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call police at 403-266-1234.
