Three-year-old child struck and killed in northeast Calgary

A three-year-old boy was killed Friday morning after being hit by a vehicle.

Calgary Police Service Traffic Section was called to the 1800 block of Valleyview Road NE around 8:40 a.m.

The child was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries, but later died.

Police say speed and alcohol are not considered factors in this collision.
