It’s been relatively dry (and hail-free) in Calgary for the most part this summer – we didn’t even get our traditional Calgary Stampede downpours.
It was only a matter of time before we got hit with a doozie and sure enough it was Monday afternoon.
Environment Canada issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning late Monday afternoon, warning of 100 km/h winds and quarter-to-loonie sized hail.
