We’re just days away from the opening of the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia, and Calgarians are starting to choose their sides for world soccer supremacy.

Calgary’s got a big soccer community and they’re loyal to their teams – but who will come out on top?

Group round games begin June 14, with only the top teams in each group getting through to the knockout round leading up to the event finals on July 15.

(There’s no better excuse to hit one of Calgary’s great sports bars and pubs to catch a few games and a couple pints.)

Tell us who you’re supporting this year with your vote in our World Cup poll!
