Dancers across Alberta and beyond are welcome to participate in the event\; no registration is requir ed this year. We are thrilled to announce that Sorrel Rider (Siksika) will be the Host Drum alongside invited drum groups Eya Hey Nakoda (Stoney Nak oda)\, Pipestem Kreek (Tsuu T’ina)\, and Blackfoot Confederacy (Treaty 7 Area).\n\nA Powwow celebration is powerful and can unite people from all Nations to celebrate identity\, relationships\, and cultural practices. Th rough songs\, drumming\, and dancing\, Powwows offer a safe space for heal ing.
