Calgary Police Service looking for information to recover stolen high-value memorabilia

A diverse collection of movie, television, and sports memorabilia was stolen from a commercial business and now the Calgary Police Service is looking for information regarding the crime in hopes of returning the items to their rightful owner.

On March 25, 2023, around 5:15 a.m., two unidentified individuals forcibly entered the premises of Zero Latency On Tilt Calgary, a virtual reality business at 6940 Fisher Road SE, by smashing the glass door, according to police.

The two suspects made off with an array of highly valuable merchandise, including a rare Star Wars Darth Vader helmet adorned with autographs from the original cast, a signed Star Trek jersey, an autographed Calgary Flames jersey, as well as an assortment of other valuable collectibles, and memorabilia.

The total estimated value of these items is approximately $51,000.

Detailed descriptions of the two suspects have been compiled:

  • The first individual is identified as wearing a black hooded sweater with white stripes along the arms, its hood concealing their identity. They wore a black toque, a grey balaclava, a black backpack, black gloves, black sweatpants featuring red “Champion” lettering down the left leg, and black and white running shoes.

  • The second suspect wore a black and grey baseball cap, featuring the phrase “On Tilt.” A black balaclava, accompanied by a black hooded sweater with grey sleeves and hood, completes their ensemble. The remaining components consist of black pants, shoes, and gloves.

Following the theft, both suspects fled the scene using what is believed to be a blue 2004 – 2007 Chevrolet Aveo.
