One person is dead after a shooting outside Market Mall in northwest Calgary Saturday afternoon.
Around 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, Calgary police were called to a report of shots fired outside Market Mall, located at 3412 – 49 Street NW.
When they arrived, officers found a man in “medical distress.” That person was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition where he later died.
There are no suspects at this time, police said.
They are, however, looking for a white, 2015/2016 Volvo XC60 that was seen in the area at the time. Calgary police want to speak with the driver as they believe that person may have information on the shooting.
Police don’t have any further information at this time as it’s early in the investigation.
