Chinook Blast, Calgary’s winter festival, has added additional programming for the final two weeks of the festival on Stephen Avenue.
Calgarians will have a chance to take in some addtional high-flying roaming performances, while heating up to hot beats, presented by the Calgary Downtown Association.
Peforming arts and circus companies aGoGo, Bravo Circus, Madhuban Performing Arts, and The Little Red Ball Company will be performing all along Stephen Avenue on Friday, Feb. 3 and Saturday, Feb. 4 from 7 to 9 p.m., and again the weekend after at the same times on Friday Feb. 10, and Saturday, Feb. 11.
DJs Jordana Fife, Molly Fi, Girls on Decks, Gold Dust Diva, and Jamie Jams will also be performing over the weekend.
Visitors to Chinook Blast will also be able to take in a laser light show by Studio Luma, illuminating up one of Stephen Avenue’s iconic buildings at 140 8 Avenue SW.
Illumine, one of the two entries into the City of Calgary’s Winter Design competition, will also be on display at 1 Street SW.
