Photos: Fog blankets Downtown Calgary overnight

Fog blanketed Calgary overnight on January 15, shrouding the Downtown Core and the East Village in both brilliant light and inky darkness.

LWC photojournalist Aryn Toombs captured the evening lights, showing how everyday Calgary scenes are easily changed by the weather.

Environment Canada issued a fog advisory for the city overnight, with forecasted fog patches to continue until Tuesday.
