Calgary’s Top 10 highest value properties in 2023

Property assessments went out in the mail today and with it, there’s a list of Calgary’s most valuable assessed properties.

Overall, the city’s non-residential properties saw a modest increase of two per cent compared with 2021 values. Still, it takes a substantial shift to move the value needle on some of these properties.

Based on the city’s information, here are the 2023 Top 10 highest-valued non-residential properties.

  1. CF Chinook Centre

2023 value: $1.1 billion (+2%)

2022 value: $1.08 billion

  • YYC Calgary Airport

2023 value: $882 million (+18%)

2022 value: $749.3 million

2023 value: $681.8 million (+16%)

2022 value: $587.5 million

  • Brookfield Place

2023 value: $498.2 million (+8%)

2023 value: $424.5 million (+2%)

2023 value: $331 million (+9%)

City assessor Eddie Lee said many of the downtown office spaces benefitted from companies upgrading their space to the higher quality AA downtown office properties.
