The display was accompanied by a prayer from Elder Clarence Wolfleg, a NYE greeting by Mayor Jyoti Gondek, and a musical broadcast from CJSW.
“2022 was a year of renewed connection and renewed commitment to building a city that welcomes us all,” said Mayor Gondek.
“On behalf of my city council colleagues, I want to express our gratitude for the countless ways we all make Calgary in such an amazing place to live.”
