The final score of game five for the Battle of Alberta did not go as planned for the Flames.

The Calgary Flames lost 5-4 in overtime in Game 5 of the second-round series.

But for the fans at the Red Lot, even a disappointing end to the series couldn’t diminish what had become one of the premiere outdoor events of the city’s spring.

The experience had continued to be a hit with fans, selling out as soon as tickets were made available to the public.
