Two vehicles believed to have information in a recent Crescent Heights shooting are being sought by Calgary police.
On Thursday, Aug. 19, officers were called to the 200 block of 11 Avenue NE after reports of multiple gunshots. When they arrived, police found a man that had been shot and evidence of a shooting. The man was taken to hospital in non-life-threatening condition.
According to police, it’s believed at this time the victim knew the people responsible for the shooting.
Investigators have identified two vehicles they believe were in the area at the time of the shooting.
One is a silver Nissan Versa, the other is a turquoise or blue Chevrolet Spark. According to police, the drivers of these vehicles may have information on the shooting.
“Gun violence in Calgary’s neighbourhoods is very concerning and we are working to understand what happened here and who may be involved”, said Staff Sergeant Keith Sylvester of the General Investigative Unit.
