Calgary police recover truck linked to a suspicious death

Calgary police are hoping for the public’s help with the whereabouts of a truck they believe was involved in a weekend suspicious death.

Police found a man in his 30s dead near the 2600 block of 38 Street NE on Friday. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

On Saturday, police found a dark blue GMC Sierra with the Alberta license plate CJD8152 in Dover. They believe it’s linked to the suspicious death.

Investigators are trying to determine where the truck was before and after the death.

Anyone who saw the truck between 6 a.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Saturday can call police at 403-266-1234. They can also call the homicide tip line at 403-428-8877.
