This episode, production delays put us a little bit behind – but we’re back on track to catch up with things.
Esmahan Razavi takes the hosting reins, guiding Jeremy Zhao and LiveWire Calgary’s Darren Krause through a number of different campaign events that have happened over the past two weeks.
They hit on voter lists, the Calgary Stampede, post-COVID-19 campaigning and Jan Damery’s fundraising efforts. They also touch on reconciliation at the city and on the campaign trail.
The trio hits on Ward 7 candidates and the big issue in that area, plus Esmahan and Darren have a couple of hot takes they need to get off their chests.
And what would a Ward Zero episode be without a couple Greg Miller references?
There are a couple of updates to items that we talked about during this somewhat belated podcast.
On the White Goose Flying report – yes, the city has taken some steps. Here’s further reading from Global Calgary’s Adam Toy on a city discussion (that happened after the discovery of 215 children’s bodies at the site of a residential school in Kamloops) about the White Goose Flying Report.
Also, the Calgary Stampede came out with a general idea of what revelers can expect for COVID health measures at the grounds this year.
