Police seek the public’s help in identifying sexual assault suspect

Girl was walking in the Ogden-Lynnwood area, Calgary police said

Calgary Police are asking the public for assistance in identifying a man who is believed to have sexually assaulted a 14 year-old girl in the community of Lynnwood. 

On May 31 the girl was walking to school through the Ogden off leash park around 7:30 a.m., according to police.

Police said a man with a Chihuahua-type dog approached the girl. According to police, she said he grabbed her wrist and touched her sexually before she could run away.

The man has been described as being white, in his early 60s with shoulder-length grey hair. He’s roughly 6’ tall with a heavy build and was wearing a grey T-shirt and blue jeans.
