Police ask for public help in Prince’s Island Park graffiti incident

Calgary police are reaching out to the public for help after a graffiti incident at Prince’s Island Park.

On Saturday, May 1 at approximately 12:30 a.m., it’s believed that four people sprayed graffiti on an outdoor stage.

According to a statement from the police, those responsible caused “substantial damage to a highly-utilized public park and facilities.”

For police to properly investigate and gather all possible evidence, they encourage citizens to immediately report any acts of graffiti, vandalism or property damage.

Police are asking that anyone with information on the incident contact them at 403-266-1234.
