One person has been charged and two victims in Friday’s double homicide in Sandstone have been identified.
Police are still looking for two additional suspects.
At 8:40 p.m. Friday, Calgary police were called to the 200 block of Sandarac Place NW after reports of shots being fired.
When police arrived on scene, they found two men, 27 and 19 dead in a vehicle. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has identified the men who were killed. They’re now officially identified as Abas Ahmed Ibrahim, 27 and Mohamed Khalid Shaikh, 19.
One youth who was also shot was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition, police said.
Dennis Wong, 20, of Calgary has been arrested and charged with two counts of accessory after the fact to murder and one count of party to the offense of an attempted murder, police said.
